I just heard the story of the man Dewey Bozella today. If you watched the ESPYs, you know who he is. If you didn’t you need to watch this. He was wrongly imprisioned for 26 years for a murder he didn’t commit. He had a chance to get out IF he confessed to the crime, to walk away as a free man. He wouldn’t confess to something he didn’t do. Eventually, with the help of some fresh, young lawyers, Dewey was finally vindicated, despite the police hiding and destroying evidence.
If you were in Dewey’s place, wrongfully incarcerated, and given the chance to get out of jail IF you confessed, would you?
